My name is Alex.
I have been trying to make sense of my life in several different ways. This place attempts to register a bit of my thinking throughout the process. Hope it can be a bridge for you and me to establish a meaningful conversation.
Originally, this website started as a portfolio of my work. It still stands in that sense. However, I have been feeling less and less compelled to hang on to a professional agenda. So take this space primarily as a public exploration of ideas that couldn’t keep still in my head.
To those who know me already, consider this my only means to be found at a distance, as I keep stubbornly away from (most) social media.
To those who don’t know me, a brief introduction would be to say I am a Brazilian researcher working in the field of religious studies and history. My emphasis is on Buddhism and its textual heritage in the Himalayas.
